Gelation of an Organically Crosslinked PHPA Polymer Gel System: An Experimental Study

Excessive water production in the oil field is major difficulty for petroleum industry. Remedial techniques need to be applied control this excess considering health, safety, and environmental issues improve reservoir's economic productive life. In study polymer gel system comprising partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide (PHPA) organic cross-linkers (Hydroquinone Hexamethylene tetramine) were prepared as a shut-off excessive of field.
